Burntwood Town Council’s Student Award in memory of Stephen Sutton MBE is now open for applications!

First launched in 2015, this award honours Stephen’s life and achievements by supporting young people in Burntwood who have aspirations and talents they wish to develop.

This year, two pupils will each receive £1,000 to help them pursue their goals. Whether in sport, art, academia, music, or another field, the award can be used towards equipment, coaching, tuition, competition fees, or travel – providing a practical boost to help turn aspiration into achievement.

We know our pupils have big aspirations, and we encourage them to consider applying for this award. We are proud to celebrate the successes of past recipients, and we look forward to seeing the applications from our pupils this year.

To be eligible, applicants must be between the ages of 11 and 19 and live within the Burntwood Town Council boundaries. Application forms can be found here: http://www.burntwood-tc.gov.uk/funding-business-support/
