News
Our Year 10 students have taken part in an exciting Personal Development Leadership Project, exclusive to Chase Terrace Academy students, in partnership with KPMG, one of the “Big Four” global professional services networks, operating in over 145 countries, with a corporate office based in Birmingham.
This highly competitive, apprenticeship-style programme required students to submit applications, which were shortlisted to just nine finalists. These students were then given a theme to plan and deliver a group presentation to a panel, followed by a one-to-one interview.
The overall winner will be awarded a prestigious work placement at KPMG’s corporate offices in Birmingham, with the opportunity to shadow current degree apprentices and gain first-hand insight into the professional services industry.
We were delighted that the panel included our current Sixth Form students, Jessica, Archie and Jake – all previous winners of this project alongside Yaseen, who, after completing his work experience with KPMG, successfully secured a degree apprenticeship with the organisation.
We are incredibly proud of all students who submitted applications, of our nine finalists who presented to the panel, and especially of Zak and Maddi, our overall finalists, who will now complete work experience with KPMG over the summer.
Congratulations to everyone involved!
