Chase Terrace Festival celebrates the end of the year with an electric atmosphere!
We are thrilled to share the success of our end of year celebration, Chase Terrace Festival, that took place today!
The event was arranged by our festival team, Ms K Tooth, Ms A Vivian and Ms V Wilson, to bring our school community together and celebrate achievements; raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust and enjoy a memorable experience before the Summer break. The festival was brimming with activities from face painting and hair braiding to exciting games and animal encounters (and much more!). There was something for everyone, with pupils particularly enjoying the inflatable assault course and dancing by the main stage.
Ms K Tooth, PE Teacher and one of the organisers of the event, said, “The energy and excitement amongst pupils and staff showed Chase Terrace Academy at its best! It has been a pleasure to work with so many wonderful people to make this a fun and memorable event.”
We are immensely grateful to the many businesses in our community that generously contributed their time, resources and expertise to make this festival a reality. Extended thanks to all parents and carers who attended last night and early this morning to set up tents, which really added to the festival vibe and provided pupils with a little shelter! Despite the typical British weather, pupils were in very high spirts and many said, “We will remember this forever!”
Ms N Mason, Headteacher, said, “I would like to extend my gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this festival a resounding success. The event was a vibrant celebration that brought together pupils, parents and the wider community. Special thanks to the festival team for all of their enthusiasm and meticulous planning to make the occasion truly remarkable.”
The festival closed with a number of staff performing live on stage, which had everyone dancing and singing along. The atmosphere was electric and the perfect way to end the festival.
