We are thrilled to share the amazing journey our families have embarked on with an Introduction to Electronics course! Thanks to the funding from the Staffordshire Adult Skills and Employability team, this course has been buzzing with creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learning for the past few weeks.
The course is a 6 to 7-week opportunity for parents, carers and pupils to come together and explore the fascinating world of electronics. It is designed to be a collaborative learning experience, where participants delve into an area that neither adults nor pupils are experts in.
Participants embark on a journey to understand the basic theory of electricity and electronics, gaining valuable insights into these fundamental concepts. But that’s not all! The course takes a hands-on approach, providing practical skills such as designing and building circuits and mastering the art of soldering.
Throughout the course, participants will have the opportunity to put their newfound knowledge into action by building exciting projects. Imagine creating a circuit that makes lights flash, crafting a door alarm, and even assembling a functional radio! These hands-on projects will not only reinforce theoretical learning but also showcase the practical applications of electronics in our everyday lives.
We are incredibly grateful for the support from the Staffordshire Adult Skills and Employability team, enabling us to bring this enriching educational opportunity to our community.
