We’re thrilled to share the incredible achievements of our Year 9 Business classes as they’ve been diligently working on projects for the JTMAT Subject Excellence Business Competition. This competition has provided a unique opportunity for our pupils to design a safe and environmentally friendly Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) for Hawkins Logistics.
Mr. S Royston, Curriculum Lead for BTEC Business and Enterprise, expressed his admiration for the pupils’ efforts: “This competition has been an excellent way for some of our aspiring future engineers and enterprising minds to apply their skillset in a different context than what they’re used to, and to pit themselves against their peers in the wider-MAT community. The tenacity demonstrated by our Year 9 pupils in approaching this task has been nothing short of exceptional. Their commitment is certain to reflect the very best of our school community and undoubtedly present Hawkins Logistics with a challenging decision when selecting the winners next month!”
Erin, Mia, Rupert, and Isaac (pictured) have been highlighted by Mr. S Royston for their exceptional dedication and hard work.
We extend our gratitude to Hawkins Logistics for this valuable partnership and eagerly anticipate the results of the competition.
