Recently, we were thrilled to welcome the Mercian Regiment to our school for a day of team-building activities and challenges with our Year 9 pupils.
The pupils participated in a series of engaging exercises, including navigating a minefield whilst wearing blackout goggles, competing to build the tallest tower, and collaborating to piece together a large map. These activities tested their teamwork, problem-solving skills, and perseverance.
After the activities, our pupils attended an informative presentation on the various career opportunities within the Army, learning about life in the military. They also had the chance to ask questions during a Q&A session, gaining valuable insights into this field. Additionally, the Mercian Regiment showcased a military kit and equipment display, providing insight into the tools and gear used by our armed forces.
A big thank you to the Mercian Regiment for visiting us!
