Our Year 9 pupils have been busy using laptops to solve questions on plans and elevations. A plan is a scale drawing that represents a 3D object as viewed from above, while an elevation shows a 3D object from the front or side. For example, a scale of 1:10 means 1 cm represents a force of 10 N in the diagram.
Learning how to interpret and create these drawings is crucial for future careers in architecture, engineering, and design, giving our pupils a head start in developing critical problem-solving and spatial reasoning skills!
