Today, our pupils participated in a drop-down day, focused on enhancing their personal development through a range of workshops.
Year 7 and 8 pupils took part in “Resilient Me” sessions, designed to help them build resilience in their daily lives. Year 9 pupils took part in anti-vaping workshops led by Everyone Health, focused on the risks associated with vaping. Additionally, pupils across Years 7 to 9 completed “Girls on Board” workshops, aimed at supporting positive conflict resolution within friendship groups.
Workshops on men’s mental health, self-esteem, and body awareness were also a key part of the day and Year 10 pupils engaged in sessions focused on managing emotions and channelling aggression constructively, while our Year 11 pupils gained practical skills through budgeting workshops and virtual work experience.
We hope these sessions have provided our pupils with knowledge and tools to support their personal growth. A big thank you to everyone involved in making this day a success!
