Our Year 10 Geography pupils recently took part in a fieldwork study in Stafford Town Centre, collecting data for their Paper 3 exam. They conducted pedestrian and traffic counts, environmental surveys, questionnaires, and a regeneration survey. These activities will support their investigation of Stafford and provide essential case study information on ‘Rural-Urban Links’ and urban regeneration.
We are thrilled to share that we received a lovely message from a member of the public, saying that: “I am a long term (40 years) volunteer in Save the Children shop in Stafford and would like you to know your pupils that were doing some sort of survey in Stafford town, were absolutely wonderful. They came in to buy items and they were a delight to serve. They were so polite and grateful to me as I found unusual items for them. They represented your academy so well and both you and their parents should be so proud of them. They were smartly dressed and conducted themselves so well. Please could you pass the message on to them as I believe in good behaviour should be praised”.
We are incredibly proud of how they represented our school and thank them for their positive contributions to the community!
