This week, as part of the national focus on Anti-Bullying Week, our assemblies have focused on empowering young people to use their ‘Power for Good’ – encouraging pupils to speak up safely and raise awareness when they see bullying, both face to face and online. These sessions, led by the Anti-Bullying Alliance, have inspired thoughtful conversations across our school community.
All of our pupils and staff have also signed our Anti-Bullying Pledge, with our Year 7 pupils taking part for the very first time. By signing, pupils promise to treat everyone with respect, include those who are left out, and stand up against unkind behaviour.
Together, our pupils and staff are committed to promoting kindness always, building a culture of acceptance and support, and making Chase Terrace a community where everyone feels they belong.
