We were delighted to take part in a recent educational visit hosted by Coffey Construction UK to Shustoke Reservoir and Whitacre Water Treatment Plant.

This trip forms part of an exciting 7-week pilot programme designed to give our students a valuable insight into the wide range of careers within engineering and water management. The initiative also supports cross-curricular learning, strengthening links with both Geography and Science.

A key focus of this programme is to highlight and encourage female participation in engineering, helping to inspire the next generation of women in STEM.

We look forward to welcoming representatives from Coffey into school over the coming weeks and are excited to see how this project develops.
