We loved celebrating our first Thankful Thursday and Feel Good Friday of the academic year last week, recognising the fantastic achievements of our students.
Miss Gleeson met with Evelyn, who recently competed in a hybrid fitness race alongside her mum and was invited to the Hyrox Youngstars Community Day in London to train with elite athletes. We wish them both the very best of luck in their upcoming race in Derby! Olivia was celebrated for performing at the Garrick Theatre with her dance group and completing her first solo singing performances with CWAGMS, showing great courage and confidence.
Fleur was recognised for securing a prestigious football scholarship placement in America following her time in Sixth Form, while Mason, Luis and Joey were praised for their exceptional summer learning. A special congratulations goes to Mason for completing a Young Football Leaders qualification and gaining coaching experience at a local football camp during the summer break.
We would also like to recognise Alfie and Caleb, who demonstrated our school value of community in an outstanding way. After finding a young girl in distress, they offered support and reassurance, staying with her and ensuring her safety until help arrived. Their kindness, compassion and maturity are a credit to our school and reflect the values we strive to uphold every day.
Well done to all our students. We are incredibly proud of your achievements and look forward to celebrating many more successes this year!
