A huge well done to four students who recently took part in the national UKMT Mathematical Competition for Girls! All four gave up their own time to compete and represented the school brilliantly.

A special congratulations goes to Isabelle, who was the youngest student taking part but achieved the highest possible award, a Certificate of Distinction, as well as being named ‘Best in School’. The competition is aimed at Year 11 students and above, but thanks to the confidence shown in her by her Head of Year and Maths teacher, Isabelle was given the opportunity to enter and certainly made the most of it.
