We’re incredibly proud of Year 7 student Daniel, who is going the extra mile to support vulnerable members of our community this Christmas.
Over the last four years, Daniel has raised an incredible £3,500 for local causes. This year, he is taking on a 12-mile sponsored walk from Chase Terrace Academy to Landywood Primary School and back to raise funds for 50 Bags of Kindness, helping to provide essential items, festive treats and practical support for those who need it most this Christmas.
Funds raised will help ensure vulnerable members of our community feel valued and supported during the festive season. Any money raised beyond the target will also be used to provide Christmas treats for patients spending the holiday period at Walsall Manor Hospital.
Daniel will set off from Chase Terrace Academy at 8:45am on Monday 9th November, and we’d love our community to get behind him. If you’re able to, please join us outside school to cheer Daniel on as he begins his challenge, and help give him a warm welcome when he returns later that day. Every bit of encouragement will help encourage him on throughout the journey.
If you would like to support Daniel’s incredible fundraising efforts, donations are warmly welcomed. The fundraising page can be found here: http://gofund.me/cc52e9924
We wish Daniel the best of luck in his mission!
