We are delighted and incredibly grateful to Pulse Fitness and Lichfield District Council for their generous donation of gym equipment for our Fitness Suite. This new equipment is already being put to great use by our students in their fitness lessons, as well as during our Fitness Club, which runs after school on Wednesdays and at lunchtime on Thursdays and Fridays. Fitness and health are key to our mission of supporting students to lead healthy, active lifestyles. Our Fitness Suite is a vital resource for both students and staff, and we’re excited to see how the new equipment will help students achieve their fitness goals.

As part of our school value of community, our school choir had the pleasure of visiting Hammerwich Hall Care Home for the second year to perform Christmas carols for the residents. Our pupils thoroughly enjoyed sharing festive songs and spending time chatting with everyone.
We were delighted to receive the following message from the care home:
“Thank you again for coming this morning. All residents loved seeing you today and they cannot wait for another sing along with you at Easter time.”

We are extremely proud of our Year 7 Netball team, who demonstrated outstanding tenacity and aspiration in this week’s fixtures, securing victories in both matches.
Well done to our Players of the Match, Erina and Lauren, for their excellent performances.

Last night’s Christmas Concert was a wonderful evening for our school community. Students from across the school delivered outstanding performances, including our Music School pupils, our KS3 Youth Choir and our staff band.
We are incredibly proud of the dedication and effort that went into rehearsals, and even prouder of how amazing our pupils performed on the night.

This half-term, pupils across all houses have been competing to earn House Points, with the ultimate reward being a Hot Chocolate Rewards Day.
Well done to all our pupils for their fantastic effort this term. The winning houses in each year group were treated to a well-deserved hot chocolate – complete with whipped cream, marshmallows and a gingerbread treat – along with time off timetable to relax and socialise with friends.
