We’re thrilled to announce the return of our much-anticipated Employment Futures Expo at Chase Terrace Academy! It’s been too long since our last Employment Futures Expo back in 2018, where over 2,000 attendees joined us for an unforgettable event. We’re thrilled to be hosting this event again after the long hiatus caused by COVID-19.
We invite you to be a part of this year’s event, where you’ll have the opportunity to connect with a diverse audience of pupils and parents, offering invaluable expertise and guidance to shape their future career paths. We encourage exhibitors to make their booths as interactive as possible, including ‘have a go’ activities to engage with our pupils.
This event will take place on November 27th, from 4:30pm until 7pm. To reserve your stand, please contact Mrs J Poppleton, our Director of Careers, at j.poppleton@chaseterraceacademy.co.uk.

We are incredibly proud to support Mariama, a Year 9 pupil, in her mission to raise funds for the Little Princess Trust. This wonderful charity creates wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment and conditions like Alopecia.
Mariama will be cutting and donating her hair to the charity and aims to raise £1,500. Her dedication and generosity reflect her outstanding character and commitment to helping others.
Mariama is a fantastic pupil, actively involved in various school activities. She is a valuable member of the Pupil Leadership Team and has been an asset in the library as a Pupil Librarian. Her contributions make our school a better place, and now she is extending her kindness beyond our walls.
Let’s show Mariama our support! If you are able to, please consider sponsoring her by clicking this link.
Thank you for helping us support Mariama and the Little Princess Trust!

Today, our Sixth Form pupils have voted for members of their Sixth Form Committee. Prior to the elections, each candidate wrote a manifesto to demonstrate to their peers why they should be elected to their chosen position within the committee.
The positions up for election were:
– Chair
– Accommodation Secretary
– Social Secretary
– Charity Secretary
We are eagerly anticipating the results as the votes are being counted. The elected candidates will be announced in the coming days.
The Sixth Form Committee plays a vital role in giving pupils a voice in Sixth Form life and in planning upcoming events. Their first task will be to organise the annual charity rounders tournament, which is set to take place next term.
A huge well done and best of luck to all of the candidates!

We are excited to share that the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Careers Hub has once again partnered with Amazing Apprenticeships for a vital research project. This initiative aims to support schools in the design, creation, and analysis of a county-wide Technical and Vocational Survey for Teachers and parents/carers.
This project will provide both the Careers Hub and individual schools/colleges with crucial insights into the knowledge and confidence levels of teachers and parents when it comes to supporting pupils in exploring technical and vocational pathways.
We have communicated this survey to all parents/carers in Years 7-10 and Year 12 via the MyChildAtSchool app. We kindly ask that you take a few moments to complete it. Your participation is invaluable and will directly impact the quality of guidance and support we can provide to our pupils. The surveys are now live and will remain open until the half-term.
Thank you for your continued support.
