Your GCSE and A-Level exams begin this week! It’s an important time, and we want to ensure you’re prepared and ready to do your best. Here’s a quick reminder of some key information:
Remember that morning exams start at 9:00am, so make sure you’re at school no later than 8:30am. For afternoon exams, please line up by 12:45pm. The full exam timetable is available on our school website under ‘Exams’.
Pupils must bring the right equipment to every exam. The equipment list has been communicated via a letter on the MyChildAtSchool app. Being well-prepared means you can focus entirely on answering the questions.
Don’t forget that we are also offering pre-exam briefings for most subjects. These 15-minute sessions are designed to provide key information, reminders, and reassurance before you sit your exams. These are not formal revision sessions, so don’t worry – they’re meant to help you feel more prepared and less stressed. Morning briefings will start at 8:30am, Please note, pupils arriving after 8.30am will not be admitted to the briefings. Afternoon briefings start at 12:30 pm.
Our staff will also continue to support you through guidance in lessons, Show My Homework, and after-school intervention sessions during the exam period.
We wish you all the very best for your exams! Stay calm, stay focused, and do your best – you’ve got this!
