We’re thrilled to congratulate eight of our outstanding Sixth Form pupils who have taken the initiative to apply for the US Girls programme in partnership with Lichfield District Council.
This aims to make a positive impact on the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable young women and girls in Lichfield District. Our pupils have shown incredible dedication by stepping up to assist in the delivery of this important initiative.
Out of the eight applicants, three exceptional pupils have been selected for interviews. Mrs. K Graham, our dedicated Sixth Form Progress Mentor, expressed her excitement, saying: “It’s fantastic to see so many of our Sixth Form pupils showing such initiative and tenacity by putting themselves forward for this incredible opportunity. Taking on such a responsibility for a fantastic cause in our community is truly commendable.”
The selected pupils will play a key role in the delivery workforce, helping to increase female participation, promote social inclusion, and address crucial issues while highlighting the benefits of regular physical activity. These pupils are ready to make a positive impact by assisting with sessions within the local community.
As we eagerly await the results from the upcoming interviews, we extend our best wishes to our outstanding pupils. Their dedication to community service and commitment to making a positive impact is truly commendable.
