To celebrate Pi Day this year, our students combined Maths and Art to create a colourful s’PI’ral masterpiece!
Using circles whose diameters followed the digits of Pi, students designed their own creative spirals. A special shout-out to Chloe, who went the extra mile by crafting a clever cater’PI’llar – turning the Pi symbol upside down to form the antennae of her design!
Pi (π) is an essential mathematical constant linked to circles. It represents the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter and appears in many topics across the maths curriculum.
A big well done to all students for their creativity!
