This holiday season, our Sixth Form pupils are coming together to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those less fortunate. We are thrilled to announce our support for Crisis at Christmas, a remarkable charity dedicated to helping individuals and families experiencing homelessness during the festive season.
Crisis is a charity that goes above and beyond to support those sleeping rough, providing food, gifts, and most importantly, assistance in finding a secure, long-term home. By contributing to this cause, we are not only spreading holiday cheer but also helping to create lasting positive change in the lives of those facing hardships.
To raise funds for this crucial cause, our Sixth Form pupils have hosted an all-day bake sale. Every treat purchased brings us one step closer to making someone’s holiday season a little brighter.
Our Sixth Form pupils also embraced the spirit of giving by participating in a ‘wear your old band t-shirt to school’ day, encouraging donations of £2 to further contribute to this worthy cause.
Mr R Giles, Head of Sixth Form, said: “Here in our Sixth Form, we believe in the power of community spirit. By coming together to support Crisis at Christmas, we not only showcase our unity but also extend a helping hand to those in need. As a school, we are so proud of our Sixth Form pupils for organising this event and supporting this fantastic cause to help those in need over the Festive period.”
We are so proud to announce that our Sixth Form pupils have raised over £550 as a result of their fundraising endeavours today. Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and supported this initiative.
