As we start the 2025 school year, our English Department has put together some helpful information to support Year 11 pupils in preparing for their English trial exams and final GCSEs. Here’s how pupils can make the most of the resources available:

English Intervention Sessions
Starting Tuesday 14th January, intervention sessions will run every Tuesday from 3:00-3:30pm until the end of this half term. Check out the English intervention timetable below for more information.

Revision-Centred Homework
Fortnightly homework is set for both Language and Literature, focused on revision and practice. Completing this work is vital to reinforce learning.

Optional Weekly Revision Tasks
Weekly tasks are posted on Show My Homework for both Language and Literature, offering a variety of activities to help pupils enhance their understanding and skills.
