Over the past half term, our two groups of Forest school students have been busy working in our allotment. They’ve been developing a range of outdoor and survival skills — from learning how to tie knots and weave paracord bracelets, to understanding composting and planting new crops such as garlic. The groups have also worked brilliantly as a team to tidy and improve our allotment space. It’s been wonderful to see their confidence, teamwork, and practical skills grow with each session.
To finish off the half term, the group came together to enjoy some festive pumpkin carving — a fun and creative way to celebrate all their hard work!
