This week’s Forest School session focused on cleaning, maintaining, and preparing tools for the season ahead. Students were introduced to traditional hand-sharpening techniques using whetstones, working in a safe, controlled, and responsible manner throughout.

Mr Proverbs, Forest School Leader, said: “Students showed excellent engagement, maturity, and respect for the tools, following safety guidance carefully and taking pride in restoring equipment to good working order. The session provided valuable insight into caring for shared resources and reinforced the importance of responsibility and good maintenance.”
