This week’s assembly focus was LGBTQ+ History Month.

In assemblies led by Mr Cooper, students took part in a myth-busting quiz exploring the AIDS crisis of the 1970s and 1980s. They learned about the history of this period, the stigma and discrimination faced by many, and the progress that has been made since.

The assemblies encouraged students to learn from history, treat everyone with respect, challenge unfair treatment, and understand the importance of accurate information.
