We are incredibly proud of our GCSE and A-Level historians who recently visited the National Memorial Arboretum as part of the ‘Remembrance Through History JTMAT Challenge’.
During the visit, our pupils explored the arboretum, paid their respects ahead of Remembrance Day, and learned about the personal stories of individuals who earned Victoria Crosses and other significant honours. As part of the competition, they will now use their research of a memorial of their choice to prepare a presentation to compete against other secondary schools in the trust.
The final competition will take place in December in front of our Trust CEO, Mike Donoghue. We wish all our pupils the very best of luck!
