Recently, our Year 11, 12, and 13 pupils took part in a workshop led by the Royal Fusiliers in celebration of National Apprenticeships Week.
During the workshop, our pupils learned about the vast array of opportunities available, with over 200 diverse careers to explore, including apprenticeships and graduate pathways for those considering university routes.
Pupils took part in several activities, such as navigating a simulated minefield to crafting innovative equipment for the army and presenting it to their peers, thus testing their creativity and problem-solving skills.
Miss J Devereux, Assistant Headteacher, said, “It’s been fantastic to witness our pupils engaging in hands-on activities today. They’ve not only gained valuable insights into the multitude of careers within the army but also discovered the vital role it plays in our society.”
We extend our thanks to the Royal Fusiliers for their invaluable contributions today.
