We are so proud of our Sixth Form pupils, who came together today to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those less fortunate in support of Crisis at Christmas, a charity dedicated to helping individuals and families experiencing homelessness during the festive season.
To raise funds for this vital cause, our Sixth Form pupils hosted a fantastic bake sale and ‘Wear Your Old Band T-Shirt day’ . Every treat purchased brought us one step closer to making someone’s holiday season a little brighter and we are incredibly grateful to every student who baked, including those in Years 7-11 who supported by contributing or purchasing a treat. The sense of community in our school today has been extraordinary.
Mr Giles, Head of Sixth Form, said:
“Our Sixth Form community continues to impress us with their generosity, compassion, and determination to make a difference. The Sixth Form Committee have done a fantastic job at planning this event and their ability to rally the wider school and create such a positive, purposeful event has made all of us incredibly proud. We are so proud of the positive impact all of our Sixth Form students have made during this festive season.”
We are delighted to announce that our Sixth Form pupils have raised over £1300 through today’s fundraising efforts! A huge thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and supported this initiative.
