At Chase Terrace Academy, we recognise the vital link between attendance and academic success. The Department for Education’s national drive to improve school attendance highlights that “pupils with the highest attainment at the end of key stage 2 and key stage 4 have higher rates of attendance over the key stage compared to those with the lowest attainment.” (DfE – Working Together to Improve School Attendance, August 2024).

To further support our pupils and families, we have expanded our Attendance Team and are pleased to welcome Mrs Howard, who will work alongside Ms Goodman to provide additional support for parents and pupils, helping to reduce lost learning hours and improve attainment.
