We have loved celebrating our students this week through our Thankful Thursday and Feel Good Friday recognitions!

Miss Devereux met with Elvie and Poppy, whose entries to the Stranger Sagas short story competition have been selected for publication in an anthology – an excellent achievement.

Ms Mason recognised three students who demonstrated our core value of community by supporting a gentleman to the bus station. We are grateful to the Garrick Theatre for contacting us with such positive feedback, and we also commend a student from another local school who also offered her support alongside our pupils.

Miss Gleeson celebrated Holly and James, who completed the Cancer Research Pretty Muddy event at Weston Park, raising money for a fantastic cause. She also met with Daisy, who competed in the Staffordshire County Athletics Championships, achieving an incredible personal best of 5:17 in the 1500m and earning a silver medal.

Mr Inman congratulated our Year 8 basketball team on an outstanding season. After winning every game, they are now District League Champions and have qualified for the Jr NBA Midlands play-offs. Their commitment to regular training and excellent teamwork has been fantastic to see.

Well done to all – your achievements and positive contributions make us incredibly proud.
