For Thankful Thursday this week Miss J Devereux, Assistant Headteacher, proudly celebrated Freddie in Year 7 for his outstanding achievements outside of school.

Last weekend, Freddie was awarded the ‘Club Person Award’ for his year group at Burntwood Rugby Club, which is a recognition for teamwork, behaviour, discipline, and overall effort.

Despite only playing rugby for one year, Freddie’s coach praised him in a speech, describing him as “the most polite boy he has met” and “incredibly respectful.”

At our school, respect and tenacity are two of our core values – and Freddie embodies both. We are incredibly proud of the way he represents our school in the wider community.
