We’re thrilled to announce the winners of our Computer Science Department’s exciting competition this term! Throughout the term, our dedicated teachers have been recognising exceptional work, the representation of our CTA Values, and outstanding progress among our pupils. Today, the competition for this term comes to an end, and we’re delighted to share the results.
Our Headteacher, Ms. N Mason, had the honour of drawing the lucky names from the hat. The prestigious prize of a fluffy duck goes to Kaden S, pictured here with his amazing new companion! Ellis J, also pictured, was the second name drawn, and they’ve won the fantastic prize of a rubber duck.
But these ducks aren’t just ordinary ducks; they’re an integral part of our Computer Science lessons. Pupils use them as a tool for ‘teaching’ and explaining their coding. It might sound a bit quackers, but talking to a duck has proven to be a helpful way for our pupils to comprehend the lessons and improve their coding skills.
We want to extend our congratulations to Kaden S and Ellis J, and a big thank you to all our pupils for their hard work and dedication this term. Mrs. D Lees, our Head of Computer Science, is proud of the progress our pupils have made and looks forward to more exciting endeavours in the future!”
