It has been a real pleasure welcoming our pupils back as we begin a brand-new academic year! It was a great to see all pupils greeted by staff at the school gates this morning before they met with their Personal Development Tutors to launch this year’s programme.
A big well done to our new Year 7 pupils, who should be very proud of the way they started their first day at CTA. Smartly presented, polite, and enthusiastic, they’ve made an excellent impression. Their morning included team-building activities, an introductory assembly, and a tour of the school – helping them to settle in and feel at home. We also hope they enjoy their welcome packs, which include a water bottle, reading book, pen, pencil, and a few sweets as a special welcome treat!
Our Year 10 and Year 11 pupils have also made a positive start, settling quickly back into their studies, and focusing on the subjects that form their GCSE and BTEC pathways.
We’re excited for the year ahead and look forward to celebrating many more achievements along the way. Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and Instagram and download the ‘My Child at School’ (MCAS) app to keep up with all the latest news and updates.
