Recently, our Year 11 pupils took part in an English GCSE masterclass, led by Miss Pickerill, Head of English. The session focused on mastering extract questions, with pupils learning how to achieve top marks by analysing past responses and understanding exactly what examiners are looking for.

With GCSE exams starting in May, this workshop was a fantastic opportunity to refine exam techniques and boost confidence.
