Last night, we held our Year 12 Futures event, dedicated to supporting our pupils in making informed decisions about their post-18 education.
Mr. R. Giles, Head of Sixth Form, provided information on the UCAS application process for 2025 entry, including crucial timelines and how to navigate the application steps. His presentation also emphasised the importance of making well-informed choices regarding university and course selections.
Mr M Lloyd, Assistant Director of Sixth Form, presented information regarding student finance, covering the application process for financial support and ensuring that pupils understand their options and how to access necessary fund for their education.
Mrs J Poppleton, Director of Careers, discussed a range of post-18 options. She highlighted not only university pathways but also higher-level apprenticeships, offering pupils a comprehensive view of their future opportunities.
We extend our gratitude to all parents, carers, and pupils who attended this informative event. For those who could not join us, the presentation from last night is available on our school website under ‘Sixth Form,’ then ‘UCAS Information.’
Should you have any questions, please contact our Sixth Form team. Their details can be found on our ‘Who to Contact’ page on the school website.
