A huge shout-out to Ellie, Jessica, and Khalen in Year 12, who recently took part in an incredible work experience placement with Dave Robertson, MP as a result of their outstanding performance in the Lichfield Schools Speaking Competition.

During their time with Mr Robertson, they gained valuable experience writing press releases, responding to constituents’ emails, drafting newsletters, and exploring real-life casework. They also visited Parliament, toured the House of Commons, and enjoyed a guided tour around some of London’s most iconic landmarks.

A fantastic achievement and a brilliant opportunity to see politics in action – well done!
