In celebration of National Careers Week, we welcomed Becky Cullin, Apprentice Pastoral Support Officer from CAT Finning, to deliver a STEM activity with our Year 7 students.

As part of the UK, Scotland, and Ireland LEGO® bridge challenge, students worked in four teams to design bridges that could let Caterpillar heavy machinery pass underneath, hold weight on top, and stay within budget. After a nail-biting test, all bridges passed – with one team winning on cost efficiency, earning goody bags and securing our place on the national LEGO leaderboard.

A brilliant day of teamwork, problem-solving, and engineering in action!
