Learning Resource Centre

The Learning Resource Centre (LRC) is right at the centre of the school and provides an aspirational and comfortable environment in which pupils can do independent work. Pupils are able to use the computers and tablets which are available, do homework or just sit and read and be assured that there is always a member of staff on hand if they need help or advice. There is a large selection of fiction and non-fiction books as well as a graphic novel section and a large Accelerated Reader section.

Click here to find out more about our Accelerated Reader Programme.

From English lessons to independent learning to reading and homework, the LRC is used for many various activities including:

● English reading lessons
● Displaying pupils work
● Laptops and computers available for homework and research
● Scholastic Book Fairs

Our opening times are as follows:

  • Monday to Friday: 8am-4.30pm
