This week, for our assembly focus, pupils have taken part in assemblies in their respective Houses to celebrate achievements and hear the latest updates.
As a reminder, at the end of last term, we awarded platinum, gold, silver, and bronze badges to pupils who reached specific house point milestones. If your child recently hit a house point threshold, keep an eye out for their badge—it’s coming soon!
Here’s where we stand with the house points for Term 2 and the first two weeks back:
– Fallow is in the lead with 21,179 points!
– Brocket follows closely with 20,562 points.
– Sika is in third place with 20,082 points.
– Elk rounds out the standings with 18,486 points.
There’s an upcoming opportunity for pupils to earn more house points to change the leader board with our newest House Event: the ‘Grow the Tallest Sunflower’ competition! Each form will receive a plant pot with soil and sunflower seeds. On Monday 8th July 2024, we’ll measure the sunflowers to see which forms have the tallest ones.
Each member of the winning form in each year group will receive 5 house points each, with two house points for each member of the form in second place and one house point for the form in third place. The competition begins on Monday, 22nd April and runs until Friday, 5th July. Good luck, and let’s get growing!
