Our Year 9 English groups have been annotating poems on the board and taking turns to teach the rest of the class.
Miss G Clarke, Teacher of English, commented, “It’s a great opportunity for pupils to expand their understanding of a poem by teaching it to their peers. This method allows them to engage with the text on a deeper level and helps build their confidence in presenting and explaining literary concepts.”
