Last night, we had the pleasure of hosting our Duke of Edinburgh Presentation Evening, celebrating all pupils who have completed their Bronze and Silver Awards.
Throughout the evening, pupils presented in groups their experiences from their Duke of Edinburgh expeditions, choosing topics of their choice. Each presentation reflected the hard work, dedication, and growth our pupils have experienced throughout this programme.
We were delighted to have Mr J Cain, Deputy Headteacher, present the certificates of completion and pin badges to our proud recipients. Additionally, we were thrilled to welcome Zoe, an Operations Officer for the Duke of Edinburgh Award in the Birmingham area, who delivered a heartfelt speech. She commended our pupils for their bravery and tenacity, not only in completing their expeditions but also in confidently presenting their experiences to a full room of their peers, parents/carers and staff.
A special thank you also goes out to Mrs. S Pickin, our Duke of Edinburgh Leader, and her fantastic team. Their unwavering support and meticulous planning ensured our pupils’ safety and success throughout their expeditions.
We are incredibly proud of all our pupils for their achievements and for making last night’s event memorable. Congratulations to everyone who completed their award and delivered such outstanding presentations!
