Our pupils have been working hard in their Personal Development lessons on a House Event activity centred around the celebration of Black History Month! Each group was assigned letters spelling out either ‘Reclaiming’ or ‘Narrative,’ this year’s theme, and they were free to decorate them creatively. They were then challenged to use their decorated letters to create an acrostic poem to display on their classroom doors!
The winning form in each year group will receive five house points each, with their poem framed and displayed in school. Second place will earn two house points, and third place will get one house point per pupil.
We can’t wait to see the creativity and hard work our pupils put into their poems.
