In celebration of Black History Month, our pupils have been engaging in an inspiring House Event during their Personal Development lessons. Each form was given letters from this year’s theme, “Reclaiming Narratives” to decorate. They were then challenged to craft an acrostic poem from their letters, to display on their classroom doors.
Miss S Lindsey, Head of the House System, judged the entries, and the winning forms are:
– Year 7: 7B2
– Year 8: 8F1
– Year 10: 10E1
– Year 11: 11E1/11F1
– Year 12: 12E
Each winning form will receive five house points, and their poems will be framed and displayed at school. Second and third places also earned points for their efforts. A huge well done to all pupils for their hard work, creativity, and teamwork!
