We were thrilled to welcome back one of our outstanding alumni pupils to Chase Terrace Academy!
William Harris, a proud graduate of our school, recently achieved an incredible milestone in his career within the Royal Air Force (RAF). William recently graduated with honours and was presented with an award for excellence and dedication in the Royal Air Force. Notably, he is the youngest person ever to achieve this prestigious recognition!
In his current role as an Air and Spare Coordinator in the RAF, William shared his incredible journey with our pupils, highlighting the importance of two of our core school values: Tenacity and Aspiration.
During his presentation, he delved into the plethora of pathways one can take to join the Royal Air Force and the wide range of career opportunities available within the Force. It was an eye-opening experience for our aspiring young minds!
Mrs J Poppleton, Director of Careers, said: ‘We are so very lucky to have former pupils like William who want to give something back to their school and to share their career journey. William shared his inspirational story with pupils and how he is the youngest person to have qualified! He gave some great advice and tips to support pupils with any future applications which they make. This was incredibly valuable and it raised awareness of the huge amount of opportunities available to them within the RAF. William has set a shining example for our pupils, proving that with dedication and hard work, the sky’s the limit!”
We are immensely proud of William’s achievements and grateful that he took the time to inspire and motivate our future RAF leaders.
Thank you, William, for being a beacon of excellence and a source of inspiration for our pupils!
