This week at CTA, our assemblies have explored religious observance in Spring, focusing on Easter, Eid, and Passover. Miss Roach, Head of RE, highlighted the shared themes of renewal, remembrance, and tenacity, as well as the significance of these celebrations in different faiths.
These festivals encourage reflection, fresh determination, and a commitment to overcoming challenges. At CTA, we take this as an opportunity to move forward positively, work hard, and embrace new opportunities. It’s never too late to make a positive change and make a difference!

We are proud to be working with ImpactEd, a leading research organisation, to better understand and improve school attendance – both at Chase Terrace Academy and nationwide.
Over the next few days, our pupils will take part in a short online survey to share their thoughts on key areas affecting attendance, including peer relationships, school environment, sense of belonging, and wellbeing. This feedback will help us implement targeted support strategies to enhance pupil engagement.
As parents and carers, your insights are invaluable in shaping the support we provide. We would appreciate it if you could please take a few moments to complete the survey, which has been shared via a letter on the MyChildAtSchool App, to share your views on attendance and how we can work together to support your child.
Thank you in advance for your time and support.

Our talented Year 7 pupils in Mr Hewitt’s classes have been working on their drawing and rendering skills while following a creative design brief. Each pupil developed unique initial concepts, bringing their ideas to life by crafting ‘block head’ characters from wood and acrylic, etched using our laser cutter. As a group, they have also designed and produced a CTA Mascot to proudly display in our school.
Fantastic work, Year 7! We can’t wait to see what you create next.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, creativity, and acting skills! This is all about storytelling, not spoken word, and their piece should be no longer than three minutes.
Performances will be judged by Ms Maymand, with winning entries recorded and submitted to the National Competition. The deadline to register is 1st April. Encourage your child to step into the spotlight and showcase their creativity! Interested pupils should see Ms Maymand for more details.
