Lastly, to our pupils and staff embarking on the ski trip, have an incredible and safe adventure! We can’t wait to hear all about your experiences upon your return.
Wishing everyone a happy Easter break and looking forward to seeing you all soon!
We are thrilled to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our pupils who have received the prestigious JTMAT Exceptional Achievement Award. Out of over 11,000 pupils across the Trust, only fifteen were selected for this award. We are immensely proud of the five pupils who have represented Chase Terrace Academy. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all of the deserving recipients across the JTMAT.
Despite our Award ceremony coinciding with our INSET Day, we made sure to celebrate our deserving pupils alongside our Headteacher, Ms. N Mason, yesterday. Furthermore, a virtual ceremony this morning provided an opportunity for all nominated pupils to be commended by JTMAT CEO, Mr. M Donoghue.
A huge round of applause to Archie (Year 11), Dakota (Year 12), Jayden (Year 12), Lydia (Year 11), and Sam (Year 9) who have all achieved a very high level of recognition in their category as a result of their exceptional achievements in various aspects of school and wider life.
Mr. M Donoghue said: “It is a privilege to work with children such as those nominated today. Examples like these are why we have created the Exceptional Achievement Award for the Trust.”
Nominations for this award can be made at any point in the academic year, based on specific criteria including national or international recognition in an activity, musical excellence, significant fundraising efforts for charity, or triumph over adversity. Nominations for the summer term will be communicated with parents/carers following our return from the Easter break.

Our US Girls Ambassadors have recently participated in a comprehensive ‘street first aid’ training course, and we couldn’t be prouder of their dedication to learning valuable skills.
During the 90-minute session, our ambassadors received hands-on training on various aspects of street first aid, including how to handle situations like stab wounds and other injuries related to violent crimes. They also learned crucial information about staying safe around issues like spiking and substance use.
This training focuses on real-life scenarios, ensuring our pupils are equipped to handle emergencies confidently. They also had the opportunity to learn traditional physical first aid skills such as putting someone in the recovery position, alongside gaining insights into mental health awareness.
We were delighted to welcome pupils from Erasmus Darwin Academy to join us for this enriching experience, fostering collaboration and community spirit.
Our ambassadors will soon be embarking on a mentoring course, further enhancing their leadership and support skills.
A big thank you to Lichfield District Council for their partnership in making the US Girls Ambassador programme possible for our pupils.

This concise and informative training, spanning just ten minutes, is designed to equip you with the tools necessary to recognise signs of potential risks and take appropriate action.
In an era where online interactions are increasingly prevalent, this knowledge is invaluable in fostering a secure digital environment for all children.

Congratulations to Fallow for clinching victory in this term’s House Point competition with an impressive total of 19,546 house points!
As a school, our pupils have collectively earned a remarkable 74,718 house points so far this term! We couldn’t be prouder of their dedication and commitment to their houses.
To celebrate their outstanding achievement, all winning Fallow form groups were rewarded with some delightful Easter egg goodies!
Additionally, pupils have now received their well-deserved House Point milestone badges and certificates.
These badges symbolise their positive net worth within their respective houses. The Bronze award recognises 50-99 house points, Silver for 100-149, Gold for 150-199, and Platinum for an exceptional 200+ house points!
Pupils will have the opportunity to earn more badges as they strive towards the next milestone in the coming terms. We encourage all pupils to proudly display their badges on their blazer lapels as a testament to their hard work and dedication.
Pictured here is Form 7M proudly showcasing their shiny new badges! Keep up the fantastic work, everyone!

While our CATCH Hub will be closed during the Easter holidays, we’re committed to supporting our school community in every way we can.
In light of this, we want to ensure that families are aware of the resources available to them during the holiday break. Many local restaurants generously offer free or low-cost meals for children over the Easter holidays. Please see attached a list of offers available.
Our CATCH Hub will reopen its doors when we return to school on Monday, April 8th.
We couldn’t resist sharing some Easter cheer with our school community! Today, during our non-uniform day, Isabella from Year 7 brought an extra dash of fun and creativity by donning her delightful chicken costume. Isabella, we applaud your fantastic spirit and enthusiasm. Your dedication to spreading joy is truly inspiring!
And they’re off! Our pupils are on their way to France for the highly anticipated Ski Trip 2024!
To all our amazing skiers, we wish you the absolute best time on the mountains! Remember to stay safe, keep an eye out for each other, and most importantly, enjoy every moment of this incredible experience.
As we approach the much-awaited half-term break, we want to ensure all our pupils and parents/carers are aware of the exciting opportunities available to enrich this time off.
We encourage all our pupils to take advantage of these offerings and make the most out of their break. It’s an excellent opportunity to explore new interests, make friends, and create lasting memories.
