Our Year 8 and Year 9 pupils have been engaged in a fantastic social value project in partnership with Wates, one of the UK’s largest family-owned companies specialising in development, building, and property maintenance.

We were delighted to welcome Richard Astbury (Operations Manager) and Alana Axten (Higher Business Apprentice) – both former CTA pupils! They shared insights into the wide range of careers in construction, the different pathways into the industry, and debunked common myths. Pupils put their teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test with a fun spaghetti and marshmallow tower challenge!
