This week, as part of our Thankful Thursday and Feel Good Friday celebrations, we are thrilled to recognise the outstanding achievements and contributions of our pupils.
For Thankful Thursday, Aiden met with Mrs C Cain, Assistant Headteacher, in recognition of his selfless act of kindness in ensuring a friend’s safety by volunteering to walk them home after a challenging day. Aiden’s demonstration of respect and compassion truly reflects the core values of our school, serving as an inspiring example for his peers.
Additionally, Kara met with Mrs D Thombs, Assistant Headteacher, in acknowledgement of her extraordinary perseverance and dedication in the face of health challenges. Despite the obstacles she has encountered, Kara’s unwavering determination shines brightly in her academic pursuits.
For Feel Good Friday, Lexi met with Mr J Cain, Deputy Headteacher, in recognition of her exceptional dedication and hard work in preparing for her GCSE mock exams. Her hard work and dedication has paid off, especially with remarkable improvements in History and Sociology.
Ella’s commendable efforts in French also meant that she met with Mr Cain for a celebration. She was nominated for her consistent completion of homework and active participation in lessons.
Esme had the opportunity to meet with Mr M Newman, Deputy Headteacher, for her admirable support of her dad, who is running the London Marathon in aid of Young Lives vs Cancer. Through her fundraising efforts of selling bracelets, she has made a significant contribution of £130 to this worthy cause.
We also extend our gratitude to George, James, and Harry, who met with Ms N Mason, Headteacher, for their outstanding contributions to improving our school environment. From cleaning the year 7 courtyard to assessing and replacing blinds, their efforts have enhanced the learning experience for all pupils.
Lydia has also been nominated for self-funding a course to qualify as a Level 2 Swimming teacher whilst studying for her GCSE exams.
Congratulations to all of our incredible pupils for their achievements and contributions! Your dedication and positivity continue to inspire us all.
