We would like to take this opportunity to inform you about a change in leadership for our Year 8 cohort at CTA.
Firstly, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. D Meek for his dedicated service as Head of Year 8. Both our staff and pupils have greatly benefited from his commitment and guidance. Mr. Meek will continue to contribute to our school community as a Teacher of Science, ensuring his expertise continues to enrich our pupils’ learning experiences.
We are excited to introduce Mr. M Brotherton as the new Head of Year 8. Mr. Brotherton joined us at Chase Terrace Academy in September as a member of the PE Department. With extensive experience in pastoral positions across various year groups, gained from working in schools in inner-city Birmingham, Mr. Brotherton is well-equipped to lead and support our Year 8 pupils.
Mr. Brotherton expressed his enthusiasm for his new role, stating, “I am so excited to work with such an excellent cohort of pupils. Their potential is evident, and I am eager to support them in their academic and personal development.”
Furthermore, we are pleased to announce that Mrs. M Weaving will continue in her role as the Student Support Officer for Year 8. Her ongoing dedication and support have been invaluable to our Year 8 pupils and staff, and we are grateful for her continued commitment.
Should you have any questions or concerns regarding this transition you can contact a specific member of staff via this link: https://chaseterraceacademy.co.uk/who-to-contact/ Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
