Our Year 8 pupils are currently on day 3 of their French trip! Today, pupils had an exciting experience exploring a traditional artisanal bakery, known as a “boulangerie”, where they had the opportunity to learn about the process of baking bread in a wood oven. They observed the skilled bakers in action and gained insights into the art of bread-making.
After the bakery visit, pupils and staff enjoyed delicious pastries and then made their way to the beach, where they spent the afternoon enjoying coastal surroundings.
Mrs E Scholes, MFL Teacher and organiser of the trip, said, “The trip has provided the opportunity for pupils to practice their language skills and utilise their knowledge to confidently order an ice cream and drink, engaging in real-life situations and enhancing their fluency and confidence in the French language.”
