As part of our ongoing commitment to the well-being and safety of our pupils, we would like to draw your attention to the concerning issue of vaping among young people. Please take a moment to review this resource provided by The National College regarding the dangers of vaping.
Furthermore, as part of our ongoing efforts to support both pupils and parents/carers in navigating this issue, we have distributed a parental guide created by ‘Everyone Health’, part of the NHS, on the MyChildAtSchool app.
We understand the importance of open communication and proactive measures in addressing such challenges. Therefore, we’re pleased to announce that we will be conducting anti-vaping sessions in school on Wednesday, May 1st, and Friday, May 3rd, also led by Everyone Health. These sessions aim to provide pupils with essential information and strategies to resist the pressures of vaping.
For any additional information or assistance regarding this matter, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s Progress Team. You can find their email addresses here.
